HPV counselling appointments at MAUD Medical are covered with a valid provincial healthcare card. However, the HPV vaccine itself is not always publicly funded.

HPV Vaccine Cost at MAUD

Gardasil®9 HPV Vaccine: $220 per dose

  • The vaccine costs $220 for each dose administered at MAUD Medical.

  • Depending on your age and vaccination history, you may require more than one dose.

  • There is no additional charge for your medically insured physician consultation with a valid provincial healthcare card.

  • The vaccine may be eligible for reimbursement through your private drug insurance plan.

Who Is Eligible for a Free HPV Vaccine in Alberta?

Publicly funded HPV vaccines are available to eligible individuals through Alberta's immunization programs, including:

  • Eligible individuals up to and including 26 years of age.

  • Students through Alberta's school-based immunization program.

  • Eligible individuals who missed their HPV vaccination during their school years.

Please note: MAUD Medical does not provide publicly funded HPV vaccines. To receive a free vaccine through Alberta Public Health, please call 811 for eligibility information and vaccination locations.

You can receive the HPV vaccine privately at MAUD Medical for $220 per dose.
