I am writing to introduce myself and let you know I am accepting referrals for pelvic health physiotherapy at Maud Medical Clinic, Bridgeland.

I provide evidence-informed, patient-centered assessment and treatment for people across the lifespan with pelvic floor and related musculoskeletal concerns. My approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on functional goals and quality of life.

Services and common conditions managed.

  • Female pelvic health: urinary incontinence (stress, urge, mixed), pelvic organ prolapse, pessary fitting and follow-up, dyspareunia (vulvodynia, vestibulodynia), vaginismus, vaginal dryness/atrophy, chronic pelvic pain, weakened core and diastasis recti.

  • Peripartum care: prenatal care, labour preparation, postpartum recovery, post–C‑section rehabilitation, pre/post surgical rehabilitation.

  • Bowel & anorectal disorders: chronic constipation, obstructive defecation, faecal/flatus incontinence, anorectal pain syndromes (levator ani syndrome, proctalgia fugax), anal fissures, haemorrhoids.

  • Paediatric pelvic health: bowel and bladder dysfunctions (constipation, faecal incontinence, enuresis, urgency, frequency), dysfunctional voiding, withholding/toilet anxiety, giggle incontinence, and pelvic pain.

  • Assessment skills: comprehensive pelvic and musculoskeletal assessment (including internal exam when appropriate and consented), pelvic floor muscle training and down-training, manual therapy, biofeedback, behavioural strategies, education, graded dilator programs, and exercise prescription.

  • Reduce symptom burden (pain, incontinence, constipation) and improve function and participation.

  • Coordinate care for complex cases and provide pre/postoperative optimization and pessary support.

  • Timely communication and collaborative care with referring clinicians.

Referral process

  • Please email/ fax brief referral or send via your usual pathway including reason for referral, pertinent history, and preferred contact. I will contact the patient to arrange an assessment and will provide a timely summary and plan back to you.
